I've been digging the new arrival of culture and ideas embracing lost arts and the value and hands on nature of 'make-your-own.' Tuthilltown Gristmill has for 220 years used water power to render local grain to flour here in the Hudson Valley, NY. The mill house was converted into a micro-distillery in 2001 and renamed - Tuthilltown Spirits, New York’s first legal whiskey distillery since the Prohibition. There's some bad ass history reproduced in every drop.
